Coookkieeesssss

I had a random urge to make oat cookies the other day so I looked up recipes on-line and found this one. I'm not a big fan of small sized cookies so I made mine a lot larger than the recipe suggests~ I also used white choc chips as well as milk choc chips (fatty)
This was my first attempt at making cookies from scratch as opposed to buying the ready mix and adding the milk or egg~

I'm really proud of them. They tasted soooo yummy and my lovely friend S had some as well, as she came over to my house. She loved them so much she actually paid me to give her more when I next make some hahaha because I'm a broke negro I took the money ohoho
Tomorrow I'm off to see Rei to give her some as well ^^ The original plan was to bring them over to her house after I had made them but I didn't get round to making them until much later than I had intended :(

I've been practising my drawing skills recently (haven't done so properly in around 5 years O_O) in preparation for an idea I have so I thought, who better to practice on than Homin? big mistake 

In the first three drawings I traced the outlines using my lightbox but I drew the fourth one entirely from eye. 

They're not the best, could do with some improvements and I certainly need a lot more practice but I felt like sharing them~

I also don't currently have a scanner so I took pictures of these using my sister's dslr and worked some PS magic to make them sort of look scanned!

That awkward moment when you look over your work and hate everything. BTW I know that the shading pattern is all off but I wasn't exactly using the correct kind of pencil

It was so sunny yesterday that I felt like stepping out into my garden for once and taking pictures

Haven't seen a frog in absolute ages

I also saw the foxes in my garden again^^ (well I see them everyday now I just don't always take pictures)

Drought

I find it ridiculous that London can claim that it is in drought, whilst we still have plenty water and it has been raining constantly as of late. Whereas in other areas troubled with real drought, they don't see rain for much longer periods of time, years even.

Foxes 260412

It seems like these foxes have taken over my life. I'm absolutely fascinated by them~

While I was making breakfast this morning I saw the adult fox again but this time right outside the kitchen window! 

Hopefully there'll be more to come in the future~

Bonus!

I made this sometime last year and just recently found it again. I'm not really sure what it's supposed to be. It kind of ended up looking like an elephant leaping in the sky...for a butterfly... oh well I really like it regardless~

'Skulk' in my garden

Skulk = a group of foxes

For a few months now I've been glimpsing a fox in my garden but I'm always too slow to reach for my camera before it disappears. Not today. 

My mum called me into the kitchen and through the window I saw it! I ran for my sisters camera and when I got back to the window I saw 2 cubs playing around. They were so cute and then I saw their mother standing a foot or two away watching them and watching me. 

They disappeared for a few seconds behind the shed in my garden but then reappeared. I kept snapping pictures of them and by that time I had called my parents over to watch them as well. It must have looked so strange to an outsider, 3 people gaping at these foxes but they were so adorable.

I've always loved foxes and get excited whenever I see them~ despite one killing my rabbits when I was a child I don't think it ever bothered me too much. I can just about having rabbits, I just remember waking up one day and they were gone.

My mum is currently preparing a little bit of food for them to eat! It's not much but it's something~ I'm hoping it won't scare the cubs away when she brings it to them since their mother has gone off to get food.
